Staying for one night offered a good experience with a friendly and knowledgeable owner, who shared fascinating history and local tips. The queen room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, although be aware there's no air conditioning. The starter breakfast was a nice touch, with coffee and fresh muffins, which we enjoyed. The historical charm of the place added so much to our experience, especially with hownice and neat the rooms were. Donna, the friendly owner. We enjoyed biking on the Hiawatha Trail and dining at cozy local restaurants. Plus, for just $75 a night, it's an amazing deal!

A charming step back in time
The hotel offered an authentic historical experience, comfortably combining vintage decor with modern cleanliness. Donna's local insights.
The old plumbing was a bit quirky and might not suit everyone's preferences. It reminded us of the building's age and charm.

Centrally located with historical charm, this place offers a unique ambiance complete with vintage decor. The coffee was delicious.
Light from the hallway transom streamed into the room. The lack of modern conveniences, like a hairdryer near any mirror or a TV in the room, might not be ideal for everyone, especially without air conditioning. Access via steep stairs can be a workout, particularly for those hauling luggage. The breakfast options were quite basic-snack bars and packaged coffee don't quite cut it, and a few pastries would improve the experience.
